Saquon Barkley (ankle) is expected to miss three weeks because of an ankle sprain. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Barkley suffered an ankle injury late in Sunday's comeback win over the Cardinals that will force him to be sidelined for around three weeks. There was some initial concern that it was a high-ankle sprain, but MRI results showed that it was an 'ordinary' sprain and he will miss a few weeks. This is obviously less than ideal for fantasy managers, but it could've been much worse. Matt Breida will likely serve as the lead back for the Giants during Barkley's extended absence.
