Anthony Averett signs with 49ers

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, the San Francisco 49ers are signing CB Anthony Averett. (Aaron Wilson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Averett, a fourth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, played four years in Baltimore and one year in Las Vegas before becoming a free agent in 2023. His most successful season came in 2021 when he had three interceptions, 11 passes defended and 54 tackles in 14 games with the Ravens, starting all of them. Averett has started 27 games in five seasons, providing San Francisco, a team that lost a lot of corners, another body with experience that can line up on the outside.
