Fantasy Impact:
The Eagles created about $2 million in cap space with the new deal, and Barnett received higher guarantees in return. Barnett, who is 27, is entering the final year of his deal with the Eagles and will be a free agent after 2023. Barnett missed the 2022 season due to injury, but he averaged over four sacks, about seven tackles for loss and about 15 QB hits per season in his career before then. He will continue to have a role in one of the league’s best defenses.
