Baltimore Ravens veteran cornerback Lardarius Webb was placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list due to him failing his conditioning test. According to the Ravens website, all players have to pass a conditioning test when they report to training camp. (Baltimore Ravens )
Fantasy Impact:
What does this mean for Webb? He agreed to have his contract restructured to stay with the team back in March. This third rounder came on the scene in 2009 as an explosive kick-returner/cornerback. Although he has had two major injuries, he is not the only Ravens player to fail a conditioning test. He received the Ed Block Courage Award earlier this year so he is familiar with fighting back. As long as he is healthy, he will remain a valuable, much-needed player for the Ravens.
