Tua Tagovailoa is not a part of the Dolphins' plan at quarterback for this weekend's game against the Jets, according to Mike McDaniel. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The general expectation was that Tagovailoa would not play again in the regular season after he suffered another concussion in Week 16 against the Packers and missed Week 17 against the Patriots. At this point, it seems unlikely that Tagovailoa would return even if Miami makes the playoffs, and the focus is on his long-term health and, hopefully, his ability to return to the playing field. With Teddy Bridgewater dealing with a dislocated finger on his throwing hand, signs currently point to Skylar Thompson being under center on Sunday.
