Josh Allen (elbow) being evaluated for UCL injury
by Dan Tursky | Bills Correspondent | Mon, Nov 7th 6:21pm EST
According to Bills' HC Sean McDermott, Josh Allen is being evaluated for an injury to the UCL of his right elbow, and that more information should be available on Tuesday. (Chris Mortensen on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This report straight out of McDermott's mouth poses a glimmer picture than what sources had been speculating on earlier on Monday. If Allen suffered nerve damage to his UCL, he could be looking at significant missed time. The UCL is, of course, the ligament that baseball players require reconstructive Tommy John surgery for when it is torn or damaged. The alarm bells do not need to be ringing just yet, but Tuesday's reports should paint a better picture of what Allen and the Bills may be looking at.
