Allen himself stated that he probably won't play Monday, and this official injury designation reinforces that statement. The team is playing it safe with the veteran's recovery, and they are targeting Week 7 as the ideal game for him to make his return. In his absence, Mike Williams and Joshua Palmer should continue to be the top two receivers for Justin Herbert and the Chargers.
