Austin Ekeler leads Chargers' rushing attack against the Chiefs
by Dan Lovi | Commanders Correspondent | Fri, Sep 16th 11:24am EDT
Austin Ekeler carried the ball 14 times for 39 yards and logged nine receptions for 55 yards in the Chargers' loss to the Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact:
Ekeler has yet to find the end zone this season and his yards per carry average isn't up to his career standard. Still, his heavy involvement in the offense should remain consistent and the touchdowns will undoubtedly arrive. Joshua Kelley and Sony Michel both saw high-leverage opportunities near the end zone, but couldn't capitalize. Ekeler should see more of those opportunities as the season progresses. His first touchdown could come next week against the Jaguars.
