The Colts and Quenton Nelson agreed to a four-year contract extension averaging $20 million per year, with $60 million guaranteed, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Nelson is now the highest paid guard in NFL history. For a team that has one of the best running backs in the league, it makes sense to pay a premium for arguably the best guard in the NFL. Nelson signing with the Colts long term should boost the value of Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr. in dynasty leagues.
