Van Jefferson is not expected to play in Thursday’s season opener after missing practice Monday. He is still recovering from a knee surgery he had on August 2nd. (Profootballnetwork.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The Rams and Sean McVay believe that Jefferson could be ready within the first few games of the year as long as he continues to progress in his rehab. The Rams have solid depth at receiver and should be able to withstand Jefferson missing a few games. Fantasy managers will want to plan to be without Jefferson Thursday and likely consider him week-to-week after that.
