This means that QB Joshua Dobbs, who had his moments in the preseason, won the backup QB competition in Cleveland. It is somewhat surprising, though, that the Browns won't carry four QBs into the season with Watson missing the first 11 games. Rosen has been on six rosters since being drafted as a first-rounder in 2018. According to Anderson, the Browns may have interest in bringing back Rosen on the practice squad.
