Joe Burrow will miss preseason, adding on weight

According to Ben Baby of ESPN, QB Joe Burrow does not anticipate playing in any preseason games as he recovers from a ruptured appendix. He also plans on adding back the weight he lost from the procedure. (Ben Baby, ESPN)

Burrow was just recently cleared to return to practice and participate in 11-on-11s after missing time due to an appendix procedure. Despite believing it to be routine, it turned out to be bigger than the team initially anticipated. The surgery was successful and Burrow has been cleared for action in practice, but he lost an undisclosed amount of weight due to the surgery. Burrow is currently going as the QB6 on average, according to FantasyPros, and won't play until the start of the regular season at the earliest.
