Irv Smith Jr. expected to fully participate in training camp

According to head coach Kevin O'Connell, TE Irv Smith Jr. is expected to participate fully at Vikings training camp. (Chris Tomasson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The 23-year-old tight end missed all of 2021 with a torn meniscus, so this is a promising sign for a player many expected to break out last season. Through 29 games with the Vikings, Smith has 66 receptions for 676 yards and seven touchdowns. He is currently being drafted as the 14th TE off the board, but he has strong potential to end the year as a TE1 if he stays healthy.
