Darius Victor to work out for Saints

The New Orleans Saints plan to work out the 2022 USFL Offensive MVP Darius Victor according to ESPN’s Mike Triplett. (Mike Triplett on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Victor was named All-USFL after leading the league with nine rushing touchdowns for the New Jersey Generals. He was also third in the league in rushing with 577 yards. Victor was previously in camp with the Saints back in 2017 and spent time on the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad as well. The Towson-product has the skills to instantly compete for snaps behind Alvin Kamara should the Saints be interested in signing him. Kamara’s legal issues are expected to bring at least a six game suspension so Victor could see the opportunity for a lot of carries while he is out, if the Saints sign him. The same can apply to whatever other running back New Orleans ends up bringing in as well and the Saints backfield is an interesting situation to monitor as the season approaches.
