Cordarrelle Patterson could see reduced workload in 2022

by Kelly Kirby | Steelers Correspondent | Wed, Jul 6th 12:01pm EDT

Cordarrelle Patterson may see a decreased number of touches in 2022 due to a combination of age, career usage rate, Marcus Mariota at QB, and the emergence of Tyler Allgeier. (Josh Kendall on The Athletic)

Fantasy Impact:

Patterson set a career-high in touches last season with 205, compared to his previous high of 85. Atlanta has given him the entire spring/summer off, and he is expected to have a lower workload during the preseason to keep the 31-year-old healthy. His ADP is 86, and RB32 is about the proper range to draft him, but the abovementioned factors should tamper excitement for fantasy managers.
