Beau Allen announces retirement from NFL

After seven years in the league, DL Beau Allen, a former seventh-round pick, announced on Twitter that he will be retiring from the NFL. (Beau Allen on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Allen played seven seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots, winning a championship in Philadelphia. He finished his career with 2.5 sacks, 117 combined tackles and 14 tackles for loss. Allen says he is looking forward to applying the skills he learned in football to "the world at large."
