Fantasy Impact:
Jackson is an electric playmaker with the ball in his hands, but rushing QBs with slight frames like Jackson always come with durability concerns. Jackson has generally been healthy during his four-year career, but he missed the final four games of the 2021 season with an ankle injury. Jackson has presumably bulked up this offseason to be better equipped to withstand the grind of playing a 17-week NFL season. Although the added weight may help prevent injury, it’s possible that the extra bulk takes away some of the acceleration and change of direction ability that makes him so dangerous as a rusher. Jackson is currently ranked as the QB4 according to FantasyPros ECR and he will likely continue to be drafted as one of the first QBs off the board as we approach the 2022 season.
