According to Carolina Panthers star RB Christian McCaffrey, WR Terrace Marshall has made “a massive leap” in improvement in his second offseason after injuries hindered his development as a rookie. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Marshall’s rookie season was no doubt a disappointment largely due to injuries. Marshall spent the majority of last year's offseason program sidelined as he recovered from a lower leg and foot injury he suffered while at LSU, and his rookie season was ultimately cut short after just 17 receptions when he was placed on season-ending IR. Panthers’ HC Matt Rhule recently indicated that Marshall should be an integral of the Panthers’ WR rotation, and early offseason reports suggest that he has the inside track to claim the team’s WR3 spot behind D.J. Moore and Robbie Anderson. Marshall is currently ranked as the WR82 according to FantasyPros ECR and he may end up being a great value pick if these offseason reports ring true.
