Earl Thomas eyeing NFL return

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that seven-time Pro Bowl safety Earl Thomas wants to resume his NFL career after sitting out the past two seasons. (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33784406/veteran-safety-earl-thomas-last-played-2019-seeks-resum)
Fantasy Impact:
Thomas has a Hall of Fame resume with an impressive list of accolades during his NFL career that includes seven Pro Bowls, three First Team All-Pro’s, and he was named to the NFL 2010’s All-Decade Team. During his last full NFL season in 2019 he produced 49 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 interceptions for the Baltimore Ravens. Thomas was on the Ravens roster ahead of the 2020 season, but he was released from the team in training camp after punching a teammate in practice. The other Safety named to the NFL 2010’s All-Decade Team, Eric Weddle, made a similar return to the playing field last season where he helped the Los Angeles Rams during their championship run. Thomas will have to prove that he still has something left in the tank, but it wouldn’t be surprising for a team in need of secondary help to give him an opportunity in 2022.
