Dee Ford restructures contract with San Francisco

The 49ers have restructured Dee Ford's contract in an effort to save cap space before tomorrow's free agency period begins. (Field Yates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
With the restructure, San Francisco will create about $4.96 million in cap space. The primary source of the savings is in adding voidable years. Ford has struggled with injury during his time with the Niners, but he did tally three sacks in six games last season for the top 10 defense.
