Danny Trevathan is expected to be let go by the Chicago Bears sometime in the near future. The move should free up more salary for Chicago. (Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune)

After the Khalil Mack trade yesterday, it is clear that the Bears will be shifting towards a rebuild. Expect an active off-season to continue at Halas Hall while the Bears figure out how to surround Fields in a situation he can succeed in while rebuilding the defense.
