Tavon Young Released by the Ravens
by Scott Long | Wed, Mar 9th 5:17pm EST
The Baltimore Ravens released Tavon Young, on the same day that Alejandro Viallnueva retired. This move saved the Ravens $5.8 million in cap space, while the two combined saved around $12 million (Ari Meirov of PFF on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Ravens already had a need in the secondary, as their secondary battled injuries for much of the year, but cornerback becomes even more of a need now. With the increased cap space the team could target free agent options such as Charvarius Ward, or Carlton Davis, or they could look to the draft and target players such as Trent McDuffie or Derek Stingley.
