Andy Janovich won't have option exercised by Browns

The Browns are declining fullback Andy Janovich's contract option for the 2022 season, according to Ian Rapoport. He'll become a free agent when the legal tampering period commences next week. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Janovich is one of the best fullbacks in the NFL, but the dying nature of the position prompted Cleveland to part ways with him. He registered just five total touches for nine yards and a touchdown through 13 games in 2021 but added additional value as a blocker. His contract option for 2022 was worth roughly $1.5 million. Instead, he'll hit free agency where the other 31 teams can bid for his services. Meanwhile, the Browns will proceed with Johnny Stanton IV taking over as their fullback.
