Memphis wide receiver prospect Calvin Austin III ran a 4.32 40-yard dash and posted a vertical leap of 39 inches and a broad jump of 11-foot-3 at the 2022 NFL Combine. Austin's 40-yard dash time, vertical leap, and broad jump all ranked in the top three among wide receivers who participated in those events at this year's combine. (NFL.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Austin is one of the smallest prospects in this year's draft class, checking in at 5'7" 3/4 and 173 pounds. He is known for this elite speed, and his impressive numbers at the NFL Combine could help alleviate some concerns about his small frame. NFL Analyst Lance Zierlein currently has Austin projected as a Day 3 pick, but his impressive performance this week could push him into Day 2 if a team falls in love with his elite speed.
