Eric Weddle promoted from practice squad

Los Angeles Rams safety Eric Weddle has been promoted from the practice squad and will be part of the Rams active roster for Monday Night Football. (Lindsey Thiry on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Weddle was coaxed out of retirement when the Rams lost starting safeties, Jordan Fuller and Taylor Rapp to injury. The Rams also promoted fellow defensive back, Blake Countess. Los Angeles is expected to start Nick Scott and Terrell Burgess but should give Weddle enough snaps to make an impact.
