Jimmy Garoppolo struggles early but leads S.F. to win over L.A.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo went 23-32 for 316 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in a 27-24 overtime win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Garoppolo missed last week's game with a thumb injury but was ready to go this week. Head coach Kyle Shanahan put all of his faith in the beleaguered quarterback as San Francisco essentially faced a must-win scenario against the Rams. Things didn't look so good in the first half as Garoppolo threw a pick and the Niners were held to just three points. Deebo Samuel helped bring S.F. back with a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown while "Jimmy G" threw another pick in the third quarter. But he showed up when it mattered most, tossing a 14-yard score to Jauan Jennings with 31 seconds remaining to tie the game. San Francisco would go on to win in overtime and punch their ticket to the postseason. The Niners face the Cowboys in the Wild Card round.
