Saints QB Taysom Hill reportedly will not require surgery for mallet finger injury sustained in Thursday's Week 13 game vs the Dallas Cowboys. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Per Schefter, Hill's injury is not considered to be as extensive as the one sustained by Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson earlier this season that caused him to miss multiple games. In addition, Schefter adds that Hill will attempt to play through the injury. The practical application for this in fantasy football terms is that, barring any unforeseen change, Hill will remain the Saints starting QB and in consideration as a viable fantasy option given the high rushing floor he provides.
