Fantasy Impact:
He has the skills to start in the NFL, but it's looking like he won't get that chance this season with DeAngelo Hall healthy and the emergence of Chris Culliver. Bashaud Breeland's leadership and drive would likely compel the team to make him their nickel in 2015. The team has acknowledged that Amerson became more knowledgeable about the game and his position, while being more dedicated to learning his craft. However, his play did not reflect that. He still gambled too often and relied solely on his instincts regularly. He is only 23 and is entering his third season, but his development hasn't gone the way the team expected after his promising rookie year. He surrendered too many big plays and his meager two interceptions mean that he failed to make many big plays of his own.
