Kyle Shanahan said that Jalen Hurd’s knee started bothering him shortly after the Raiders game and the pain hasn’t gone away. (Matt Barrows on Twitter )

The 49ers will “shut him down for a little bit” and he’s an injured reserve candidate with Travis Benjamin being the top candidate to take his spot. He would miss at least three games if he is placed on IR.
