Los Angeles Chargers rookie WR Josh Palmer "has an NFL body already," Albert Breer reported Saturday. Breer added, "In Joe Lombardi's Saints-centric scheme, [Josh Palmer would] fit in a Michael Thomas type of role." Breer visited the team as part of his annual training camp tour. With Keenan Allen and Mike Williams presumably ahead of Palmer in the pass-catching pecking order, Breer's report is eye-popping. Palmer presumably entered camp battling for the team's WR3 slot. Palmer's preseason usage and alignment will be a situation to monitor in the lead-up to Week 1.
