McElhaney wrote: Qadree Ollison never quite made it up the rotational ladder under the previous staff, and fans often questioned why that was. It seems this staff is pushing the 24-year-old and giving him a bigger chance than he’s ever had before. The Falcons released Brian Hill and Ito Smith this offseason. After Mike Davis, Ollison is the next running back up. He’s getting solid reps in practice, and he’s getting a chance. That said, if Mike Davis misses time, it appears Ollison is the "handcuff." In his first two seasons with the Falcons, the RB carried the ball 23 times for 53 yards and four touchdowns. He totaled one reception on two targets for seven yards as well.
