Jonathan Allen inks four-year extension with Washington

The Washington Football Team have signed DE Jonathan Allen to a four-year, $72 million extension on Monday. The deal includes $30 million guaranteed. (Ari Meirov on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Allen started every game for Washington in 2020, racking up 63 tackles and 2.0 sacks across 16 contests. The 26-year-old played a career-high 77 percent of the defensive snaps last season. He was second on the team in quarterback hits (14) and played a vital role in helping Washington become an elite defense last season. Allen is durable and started 47 of 48 games over the previous three years. His presence only helps Washington’s DST, which is currently fourth among all defenses in the latest expert consensus rankings.
