David Onyemata facing multi-game suspension

New Orleans Saints defensive tackle David Onyemata announced on Instagram that he is facing a multi-game suspension after testing positive for a banned substance. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Onyemata says he never knowingly consumed a banned substance and intends to be "more aware" of any medications or supplements he takes going forward. He had a career year in 2020, amassing one interception, 44 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 16 quarterback hits, and 6.5 sacks.
