Aaron Rodgers won't show up to minicamp, set to hold out

by Brad Camara | Jets Correspondent | Mon, Jun 7th 6:33pm EDT

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Packers future HOF QB Aaron Rodgers is not expected to report to Green Bay’s mandatory minicamp. The Packers QB is set to become a holdout. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Rodgers repeatedly said all offseason that he wants to be traded and will not show up to Green Bay’s mandatory minicamp. He’s set to become a holdout and the Packers can fine him $93K if he misses all three days of minicamp starting Tuesday. The Packers could make an exception with Rodgers and make it an excused absence. Either way, the situation between Green Bay and Rodgers won't come to an end anytime soon. Jordan Love and Blake Bortles will continue to handle the majority of first-team reps while Rodgers is holding out. Stay tuned.
