Every year, speculation about Larry Fitzgerald runs rampant. After several offseasons full of one-year deals, it appears an end may be in sight. According to The Athletic, multiple NFL executives expect the longtime Cardinals receiver to retire from football this offseason. (The Athletic)
Fantasy Impact:
As the original report notes, "while Fitzgerald remains unsigned and has not announced his intentions for 2021, execs anticipate he’ll retire rather than rejoin a receiving corps now headlined by DeAndre Hopkins." The 37-year-old is an 11-time Pro Bowler, one-time First-Team All-Pro, and member of the HOF All-2010s Team. If this is indeed the end for the 17-year veteran, he'll finish his career with 1,432 catches for 17,492 yards and 121 touchdowns over 263 games.
