Jacksonville Jaguars LG Andrew Norwell has agreed to restructure his contract to $9 million fully guaranteed and worth up to $12 million, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The 2017 All-Pro left guard will remain in Jacksonville for 2021 under the new regime being implemented by head coach Urban Meyer. Norwell, a former lineman at Ohio State during Meyer's tenure as head coach for the Buckeyes, is talented and a road-grader within the interior of the Jaguars' offensive line. With all sights set on Trevor Lawrence at the No.1 overall pick in the 2021 draft, Meyer and the Jags understand the value and importance of continuity on the offensive line, especially to protect a mobile, athletic quarterback like Lawrence. Norwell played 13 games for Jacksonville in 2020, creating lanes that allowed rookie running back James Robinson to explode for 1,070 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.
