Fantasy Impact:
Just moments before the announcement, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported the Packers were pushing hard to re-sign Jones. Per his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, Jones gets a $13M signing bonus. His return to Green Bay certainly lowers the value of 2nd-year running back AJ Dillon, whom dynasty fantasy managers in particular had high hopes for if Jones were to leave in free agency. In any case, Jones is back with the Packers for another four years, which will make him 30 years old at the end of his newest contract extension.
