Giants wide receiver C.J. Board, who was carted off the field after a scary-looking injury on Sunday, was released from the hospital Sunday night and diagnosed with "only" a concussion, according to Giants beat reporter Dan Duggan. There had been some initial concern that Board had suffered a neck injury. (Dan Duggan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While concussions are certainly serious, this news is close to the best-case scenario for Board. He was knocked unconscious on the field and was carted off and sent to the hospital for further evaluation after a scary scene on the field, but he has apparently avoided serious injury.
