Eagles tight end Hakeem Butler is officially active for the first time as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles for their Week 6 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. (Zach Berman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Eagles signed Butler off of the Panthers' practice squad at the end of September and are transitioning him from wide receiver to tight end. He is active for the first time on Sunday, but that has likely more to do with the number of the injuries the Eagles are dealing with than anything else. Philadelphia has four tight ends active today (Butler, Zach Ertz, Richard Rodgers, and Jason Croom), so Butler is unlikely to play a significant role in the offense.
