Fantasy Impact:
The 49ers traded for Ford in 2019, giving a second-round pick to the Chiefs and handing him a hefty 5-year contract worth $85M ($19.75 guaranteed). Ford, however, has not quite lived up to the billing. He only played in 11 games in 2019 due to a hamstring/quad injury but posted 6.5 sacks on just 232 snaps. He's an ultra-athletic pass rusher and the sky is the limit if he could just stay healthy. This is another blow to a 49ers D/ST that is already without Richard Sherman, Nick Bosa, and Solomon Thomas.
