Wide receiver Deontay Burnett was waived by the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, the team announced. (Dave Zangaro on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Burnett had reportedly been a standout in training camp, and his release comes as a bit of a surprise. The team is reportedly interested in bringing Burnett back to their practice squad if he passes through waivers. Unless he latches on somewhere else or gets added back to the active roster in Philadelphia at some point, his fantasy value is nonexistent.
