James Conner expected to receive workhorse role in 2020

James Conner has been limited in training camp "by design" according to Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin. Conner impressed as the featured back in Wednesday's "mock-in season" practice and should receive the majority of the workload against the New York Giants in Week 1. (Mark Kaboly of The Athletic)
Fantasy Impact:
Tomlin's affinity for using a featured back is well documented, as he was quoted this offseason saying "...if you have a featured runner it allows them to drop a stake in the ground and allows others to rally around him." Conner is a solid RB2 and a great value pick in the late 3rd or 4th round in redraft leagues.
