Laviska Shenault impressing Gardner Minshew in training camp

John Reid of the Florida Times-Union reports that Shenault has been impressing his teammates with his play-making ability. Specifically, Gardner Minshew has been impressed with his athleticism, route running and catching ability, saying, ''Laviska is a freak, man. I knew it when we played him at Colorado. He’s a lot better route runner, a lot better at catching the ball than I even expected.''. John Reid also mentioned that Laviska has been leaning on D.J. Chark at training camp as he works to build chemistry with Gardner Minshew. (Jacksonville.com)

Assuming he can stay healthy, and acclimate to the pro level game, Laviska Shenault has all the talent and opportunity to become a star alongside D.J. Chark in this Jaguars offense. However, early in his career Laviska will be competing for snaps with Chris Conley, Dede Westbrook, Keelan Cole, and fellow rookie Collin Johnson. Currently going undrafted in most leagues Shenault is someone to keep your eye on.
