Bryan Edwards drawing lofty comparisons from Raiders

Bryan Edwards has drawn lofty comparisons early in Raiders camp, including Derek Carr saying that Edwards reminds him of his former Fresno State teammate Davante Adams. Edwards's high school football coach said also that Edwards reminds him of A.J. Green. (Las Vegas Review Journal)
Fantasy Impact:
Comments like these are generally not very actionable for fantasy football purposes, but it's definitely worth noting that Edwards is standing out early. The Raiders have a very young and inexperienced wideout group, returning only Tyrell Williams and Hunter Renfrow that had any significant impact in 2019 (no other WR had more than 20 receptions). The Raiders also added Nelson Agholor and drafted Henry Ruggs in the first round, but given the lack of true outside receivers, Edwards could well find himself on the field as early as Week 1. He's a fine late-round pick in fantasy drafts given the wide open depth chart in Las Vegas.
