Fantasy Impact:
Once Damien Williams announced he was opting out of the 2020 NFL season, it was only a matter of time before the latest Chiefs first-round pick took over lead back responsibilities. And in his first practice in pads, it was Edwards-Helaire who was in fact running with the ones. If he receives a full workload right off the bat, we could be looking at some gaudy numbers this season from CEH in one of the most high-powered offenses in the NFL. He’s currently the ECRs RB7 in half-PPR leagues with an ADP of RB14, which will surely rise as we move through fantasy draft season leading up to the start of the NFL regular season.
