RB Bernard Pierce was claimed off waivers by Jacksonville Jaguars

Running back Bernard Pierce has been in the spot light for two days. On Wednesday morning, he was arrested for DUI. Later that day, the Baltimore Ravens terminated his contract. On Thursday, he was claimed off waivers by the Jacksonville Jaguars. (Baltimore Ravens )
Fantasy Impact:
Pierce, 24, had a promising rookie career when he started with the Ravens in 2012. That changed in 2013 when he was plagued with injuries, averaging 2.9 yards per rush. In 2014 he only averaged 3.9 yards per rush causing him to lose the starting spot to Justin Forsett. With the Jaguars, this veteran will stand a better chance of getting a starting spot.
