Patrick Queen, the former LSU linebacker, has agreed undisclosed terms with the Baltimore Ravens. The Defensive MVP in the 2020 National Championship is looking to make an instant impact. (baltimoreravens.com)
Fantasy Impact:
In his junior year at LSU, Queen played in all 15 games of the Tigers' undefeated season and accumulated 85 tackles (37 solo), as well as winning the national championship. The 1st-rounder who operates predominantly as an inside linebacker looks poised to slot into the starting lineup in a position which the Ravens needed to bolster after the departures of both Josh Bynes and Patrick Onwuasor to the Bengals and Jets, respectively. Praised for his confidence in the position, Queen has been compared to the current Washington and former Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis by NFL Draft analyst Lance Zierlein, and so in fantasy terms, we can hope that Queen turns out to be as involved in a lot of high-tempo defensive play.
