Dalvin Cook won’t report without a new deal

Dalvin Cook won’t participate in any team-related activities unless he receives a “reasonable deal,” per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
“He’s out. Without a reasonable extension, he will not be showing up for camp and beyond,” Schefter added. Cook is entering the final year of his rookie deal and is looking to secure a new contract. The 24-year-old is willing to hold out until he’s one of the NFL’s top paid running backs. RB Alexander Mattison would see a significant boost in value if Cook holds out until the regular season. Cook had a career-year in 2019, logging 250 carries for 1,135 yards and 13 touchdowns across 14 games. He is currently fourth among all running backs in the latest expert consensus rankings, but a hold out could see Cook’s fantasy stock significantly drop.
