Bengals seventh-round pick LB Markus Bailey told Charles Davis on SiriusXM that he is 7 1/2 months removed from ACL surgery and that he should be ready to go in time for live training camp later this summer. (Alex Marvez on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Bailey played five seasons at Purdue, recording 301 tackles, 13.5 sacks, and six interceptions. His 2019 ended abruptly after suffering a torn ACL. He had surgery late in 2019 and seems to be recovering well. Bailey is a much needed upgrade to Cincinnati’s weak linebacker corps. He’ll have a great chance to make the team this season even as a seventh-round draft pick.
