Joe Mixon, Bengals have had a 'visit' to discuss a long-term deal

It was reported back in April that Mixon is prepared to hold out this year if an extension isn't reached. "Joe’s obviously a guy that’s shown a lot of ability ... He’s in a year that he can be extended, and he is a guy that we visited with. We’ll go through those discussions and see if there is a fit or a match for a long-term contract with him" Tobin said. If the 23-year-old suits up for Cincinnati this season he should be a legitimate RB1 in what expects to be a greatly improved offense. This will be an important story to monitor this summer, for obvious reasons.
